Bonita S. Hudson, woman of deep faith

Bonnie Hudson passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pa. She was born Nov. 22, 1950, in Chambersburg, Pa., to Paul and Joyce Skelly.

Bonnie was a loving mother and grandmother, and was the proud mother of Chad Stover and Hollie Taylor. She leaves behind her husband of 23 years, Billy Reed Hudson. She is also survived by her three sisters, Roxy, Tammy and Lisa.

Bonnie wanted to be a nurse right out of high school and graduated from York College of Pennsylvania. Her first job was at Milford Hospital in Milford; then she moved back to Chambersburg and became the head of the nursing department. Bonnie moved back to Delaware and became a school nurse for 15 years before retiring with her husband and helping him in his marine business.

A woman of deep Christian faith, she will be deeply missed by her husband, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held privately.
