Bridgeville man charged with wife’s murder

A Bridgeville man has been charged with the murder of his wife, who was found dead Feb. 17 in Heritage Shores.

Police had been searching for Robert Franks, 53, in connection with the murder of his wife Cynthia Moss-Franks, 57, who was found dead in her home on Champions Drive, said Sr. Cpl. Leonard DeMalto of the Delaware State Police.

On Feb. 20, police found Franks in Philadelphia, and he is being held as a fugitive awaiting extradition to Delaware. On Feb. 22, police said they found Cynthia’s silver 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS with Delaware vanity tag “YCANTI,” unoccupied in Philadelphia.
