Byrne has proven leadership qualities

August 6, 2021

We are writing this letter to express our support for Richard Byrne for re-election as commissioner.

Richard Byrne has been a very successful commissioner for the past three years and we feel that this experience counts.  We will vote for this experience.

We are indeed pleased with his accomplishments since his election, in particular, the stop signs on Hickman Street, the beautification project on the 1B entrance and the creation of Steve Elkins Way.  Not only has he enhanced the beauty and the safety of our city, but he has created and chaired the environment committee to make sure that our city is environmentally friendly.  All of these improvements have helped draw visitors and permanent residents to our city.

We have experienced Richard’s leadership personally as Richard was the president of our HOA when we moved into Rehoboth in 2014. He has kept our association informed, and has made many improvements in the last seven years.  Richard has always been available and helpful with any issues that have come up during this time.

Richard’s leadership experience at the universities of Maryland and Minnesota have truly helped to make him one of Rehoboth’s best commissioners. Therefore, this Aug. 14, we will vote for Richard Byrne because we believe experience counts, so we will vote for experience!
