Cape football advances to state championship

For the second straight week, the Cape football team avenged a regular-season loss to advance in the DIAA Class 3A state tournament. After taking down Dover Nov. 17, the Vikings upset Sussex Central 46-14 in the semifinals Nov. 24.
With the win, Cape advances to the state championship game against top-seeded Salesianum at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1 at the University of Delaware.
