On Nov. 6, 10 Cape High JROTC cadets rolled up their sleeves to assist members of AMVETS Post 2 at the Home of the Brave in Milford. The home provides transitional housing for male and female veterans of the armed forces in Delaware.
The cadets, supervised by Sgt. Philip Webb, assisted with reorganizing a storage warehouse and assembled support kits containing a variety of personal hygiene items.
Those participating included Liam Drevno, Gabriella Brunskill, Makai Turner, Cole Samson, Ninfa Cantu, Anthony Drummond, Emmanuel Majjul, Sual Islas, Kathryn Drumheller, Isaac League and Webb.
