The Cape Junior League All-Stars fell to Mid-Sussex 14-0 July 10 at the Georgetown Little League complex. They lost to Nanticoke 12-4 July 11 to end their District 3 tournament run.
Cape’s Leyton Burke, Ben Pribulick, Anthony Brittingham and Kane Matthews each went 1-for-2 in the game with Mid-Sussex.
Cape’s Matt Heacook had a hit and an RBI against Nanticoke.
“This is a great bunch of kids,” said manager George Pribulick. “They gave their all, and it was a pleasure to manage them.”
