Cape soccer alumni game brings back memories and tradition

A cold evening at Legends Stadium didn’t affect the skills of the Cape Henlopen soccer players from the past as they heated up the turf in the annual alumni game Nov. 21.
The players were split into the Green and Blue teams and pitted the former Vikings against each other in a gone-but-not-forgotten competition. The final score didn’t matter, as the older players relived memories of their time at Cape and formed new friendships with recent graduates.
