The Cape swim squads moved to 2-1 on the season with victories over Indian River Dec. 14 at the Sussex Academy Aquatic Center.
The girls’ team took a 101-69 win, while the boys garnered the win with a 113-57 score.

Cape freshman Hailey Hassell won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:46.53.
Cape senior Brenden Groll swims the breaststroke.
Cape junior Alissa Silva pulls ahead and wins the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:40.35.
Vikings senior Gabby Robertson wins the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:11.84.
Cape senior Ryan Williams swims the backstroke.
Senior Marcus Gromofsky leaves the blocks and wins the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.44.
Freshman Hailey Hassell leaves the blocks in the 500 free.
