Cape’s Tori Lingo skates home with three gold medals

Bay Country Figure Skating Club member Tori Lingo, 14, of Lewes, earned gold medals at three regional figure skating competitions.
Competing in freestyle at the Pre-juvenile Girls Excel Plus level, Tori finished first at the annual Hershey Open, held Aug. 7-11 at the Hershey Park Arena in Hershey, Pa.; at the Association of Philadelphia Area Figure Skating Clubs’ Challenge Cup, held Sept. 12-15 at the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society rink in Ardmore, Pa.; and at the South Atlantic Regional Competition Oct. 4 at IceWorks skating complex in Aston, Pa.
Tori is a freshman at Cape Henlopen High School and trains at the Centre Ice Rink in Harrington.
