Carol Ann Marie Cianflone, enjoyed retirement
Carol Ann Marie Cianflone passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020, in her Rehoboth Beach home. Carol was born Dec. 6, 1963, in Baltimore, Md. She grew up in the Lakeland area of Baltimore and worked at Maryland DMV for 14 years before transferring to the Department of the Comptroller of Maryland as an administrative supervisor until her retirement in November 2014 after 30 years of service. A move to Rehoboth Beach in 2015 was to be her retirement home.
Carol enjoyed taking road trips everywhere (as long as she was driving!), as well as taking care of her dogs, Princess and Angel. She was a Baltimore Ravens fan, and Kyle Busch was her favorite NASCAR driver. Carol loved her cooking shows as well as reality competitive programs. Carol also was a member of American Legion Post 17 Auxiliary and appreciated the opportunity to volunteer for many of their endeavors.
Carol is predeceased by her father and mother, Arthur and Ruth Keyser; her sister, Claire Keyser, and brothers, Robert Keyser and John Keyser; her father- and mother-in-law Robert and Rose Cianflone; and brother-in-law Dale Cianflone.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Jeffrey Cianflone; her daughter Shannon Pfeiffer and her husband Les; son Robert Goff and his wife Nikki; grandchildren Kyle and his wife Cheyenne, Caleb, Christian and Riley. Carol was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Vincent, May and Athena. Carol is also survived by brother- and sister-in-law Robert and Lisa Cianflone; as well as nephew Douglas, his wife Amanda, and grand-niece Mila. There are also many extended family members and friends, all of whom she cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, July 17, at American Legion Post 17, Lewes. Please RSVP to jnccianflone@yahoo.com.
