Cassie Johnson and Sean Duffy unite in marriage
Cassie Johnson and Sean Duffy were united in marriage Saturday, March 17, at Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown. Pastor Marvin Jones officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Johnson of Milton. The groom is the son of Mr. Michael Duffy of Ocala, Fla., and Mrs. Helen Duffy of Dover. Grandmother of the bride is Anna C. Hudson of Milton. Grandfather of the bride is Robert Vanaman of Georgetown.
Matrons of honor at the ceremony were Ann Marie Donovan and Denise Lovett, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids included Katie Mitchell of Dover, Angela Stoltz of Felton, Sarah Dutton of Lincoln, Stephanie Johnson of Milford and Crystal Connors of Dover.
Best man was Pearse Brewer of Dover, best friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Eddie Connors of Dover, Michael Mcdaniel of Harrington, Troy Dickerson of Laurel, Shaun Carey of Dover, Sean Duffy II of Greenwood and Kaiden Duffy of Greenwood. A reception was held following the ceremony at Irish Eyes, Lewes.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and a 2004 graduate of Wilmington University. She is employed as an English teacher at W.T. Chipman Middle School, Lake Forest School District. The groom is a 1994 graduate of Dover High School and currently attends Wilmington University. He is employed as a teacher by W.T. Chipman Middle School.
The couple took a wedding trip to Cape Cod, Mass. Following the wedding, the couple resides in Greenwood.
