Chrissy Steele named Sussex County Realtor of the Year

Coldwell Banker Resort Realty announced Chrissy Steele as Sussex County Association of Realtors 2019 Realtor of the Year.

Steele’s award was presented at the association’s annual installation of officers and directors Jan. 4. The award recognizes Realtors who have served not only their profession, but also their communities. 

Steele earned her real estate license and became a Realtor in 1999. In 2004, she earned her associate broker license. She is a member of the senior management team of Coldwell Banker Resort Realty in Rehoboth Beach, where she has spent her entire real estate career.

Steele currently serves as first vice president of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, director for the Delaware Association of Realtors, and vice chair for the Delaware Real Estate Commission’s Education Committee. She is an ex officio member of each of the Sussex County Association of Realtors committees, and serves on the 2019 Delaware Association of Realtors Convention Instructor Task Force. She is a member of Sussex County Bible Church in Harbeson, and serves on its finance team and building team.

She resides in Sussex County with her husband Sean Steele and their two children Owen and Olivia. In her free time, Steele likes to take day trips with her family, read books and chalk-paint furniture.
