Christina Marie Browning, loved her family
Christina “Tina” Marie Browning, 69, of Long Neck, formerly of Glen Burnie, Md., passed away surrounded by her loved ones Monday, Feb. 3, 2025.
Tina was born in Baltimore, Md., Nov. 21, 1955, daughter of the late Pearl Laura (Rolf) Durm.
Tina will be remembered for her love of family, countless memories with her grandchildren, and all of the amazing friends she has made in her lifetime. Tina enjoyed life from listening to music on Bourbon Street in New Orleans to spending time with friends and family. She also loved camping trips, spending time by the water, and boating on the bay. Tina was an avid sports fan, rooting for her Baltimore Ravens, Orioles, and Maryland Terrapins.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, John Durm and James Durm; and her son-in-law, Jacob Breitschwerdt. Tina is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Eugene Browning; two daughters, Lisa Glenn, and Amanda Van Houten and her husband Jonathan; two sisters, Joan Madigan, and Patricia Schutz and her husband Calvin; four grandchildren, Randy Owens, Sydney Breitschwerdt, Abigail Van Houten and Jordyn Van Houten; and her beloved cat, Betty.
A celebration of Tina’s life will be held from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 1, at Amvets Post 2, 32592 Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
