Colleen Kay Day, loved coastal living

Mrs. Day had many interests and hobbies, but none so favored as coastal living. She loved being near and on the water and everything residing in the region had to offer. Mrs. Day was a friend to everyone and enjoyed life to the fullest. Above all, she cherished time spent doting on her daughters, grandchildren, and her loyal feline companions. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Day is survived by her beloved husband of 12 years, Gregory L. Day of Milton; her daughters: Lisa Wright (Matthew) of Georgetown and Laura Day of Milton; her grandchildren: Brayden, Bryce and Delaynie Wright; her sister, Marjorie Brennan (Neil) of Shadyside, Md.; her nephew, Robert Turner (Amanda) of Massachusetts; and her great-nephews Greyson and Keegan.
A public committal service will be held Thursday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Cemetery Columbarium, 660 Pilottown Road, Lewes. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
In keeping with social distancing protocols, all attendees will be required to wear a mask while participating in any aspect of funeral services.
