Scott Shaughnessy, a Cape Gazette subscriber, recently traveled to northern Colombia, visiting Tayrona National Park (Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona), outside of Santa Marta – a stunning park, located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. There, he experienced beautiful beaches, great surfing, coffee and cacao plantations, and delicious cuisine. Scott is shown here reading the Cape Gazette while relaxing at Senda Casa Tayrona Los Naranjos, a beachfront eco-resort hotel. The Gazette also traveled with Scott a few days later when he and his friends spent four days visiting the historic city and UNESCO World Heritage site, Cartagena.
