Comedy Club Tuesday set weekly at Starboard, next date June 21
June 14, 2016
The Starboard Restaurant in Dewey is one of the only places at the beach that brings in big-time comedy acts. Now in their fourth season at the Starboard, Comedy Club Tuesdays will run through August.
Those who love to see live comedy will enjoy comedians like the Rev. Bob Levy, who has performed on “The Howard Stern Show,” and national headliner Gemini. Along with the new acts, there are also some returning funnymen like Geno Bisconte, who brought down the house last year with his irreverent jokes, and Angel Salazar of “Scarface” and “Carlito’s Way” fame.
The Starboard is the only place where patrons can kick back with a fresh orange crush in their hand and take in headlining comedy acts with no cover charge. With the $4 appetizer menu being served from 3 to 11 p.m., everyone can afford to come out and share a few laughs with their favorite bartenders and new friends.
Parking in Dewey Beach is free from 5 to 11 p.m. Tuesday evenings. The Starboard tends to fill up fast during the summer months, so everyone is urged to come early and stay late. Acts are still being added for the end of August. For more information, go to thestarboard.com.
