Community partners gather for Alzheimer’s roundtable

Alzheimer’s Association staff recently gathered with a concerned group of Sussex County volunteers and members of the local business community to discuss the challenges of Alzheimer's disease and expansion of services into the county.
The roundtable event was hosted by Tony Buonnano, MD, Beebe Healthcare vice president and chief medical officer. Presenters included Ruth Pryor, volunteer community educator; and Rehoboth Beach Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee members Margie Daisey, co-chair, and Cody Smith of Edward Jones.
Woody Davis, Southern Sussex Rotary Club president, presented a $1,000 check to Kristina Fransel, Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter executive director, to help fund Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
