Delaware Association of Realtors installs 2025 leadership

Delaware Association of Realtors announced Scott Farnan, a Realtor in Kent County, has been installed as its 2025 president.

Swearing in DAR’s 2025 officers and directors was Dee Dee Miller, regional vice president of the National Association of Realtors.

In his inaugural address, Farnan shared his vision for the year ahead, focusing on fostering stronger connections within the Realtor network, advocating for smart housing policies, and expanding support for members through initiatives like the Delaware Realtors Care Foundation, a nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to Realtor members and the greater Delaware community during times of critical need.

Farnan brings more than 20 years of real estate experience to his role and has been an active leader in the profession. He previously served as president of the New Castle County Board of Realtors and has demonstrated a deep commitment to service through his volunteer work with Child Inc., where he has helped provide housing for families affected by domestic abuse.

The 2025 DAR leadership team also includes: President-elect Denise Forman Gaines, Vice President Trina Joyner, Treasurer Steve Alexander, and Chief Executive Officer and Secretary Wesley Stefanick.

Directors installed from the Sussex County Association of Realtors are Bill Davis, president; Bruce Plummer; Kevin Thawley; Allison Stine; Adriane Gallagher; and Chris Lind. At-large directors from Sussex are George Thomasson and Chrissy Steele.
