Delaware Comedy Theatre's first regular late night show set July 11 at Clear Space Theatre in Rehoboth

July 8, 2015

Delaware Comedy Theatre, the Rehoboth Beach-based nonprofit improvisational theater group and school, announces the opening of its first regular late night improv comedy show in Rehoboth, “The Late-R Night Show,” starting at 10 p.m., Saturday, July 11, at Clear Space Theatre at 20 Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach, De.

“Clear Space has been a wonderful partner,” says DCT artistic Director David Warick. “This is the first regular show we’ve ever had in-town in Rehoboth, and it’s such a great way to kick off our eleventh year in Delmarva.”

The show features almost all new players, who have recently joined the Delaware Comedy Theatre troupe. Each show will feature a different format, in order to encourage audience members to return regularly. “Since our casts and the type of comedy show we perform will change weekly,” Warick notes, “every show will be different and fresh. We hope people will come see us more than once.”

The show begins at approximately 10 p.m. every Saturday through Aug. 29 after Clear Space’s theatrical offerings. The charge for the show is $12. A bar and concessions will be available throughout the show, which is adult-themed and not appropriate for children.

Delaware Comedy Theatre, formed in Spring 2005, is a nonprofit theatre company bringing professional comedy improvisation training and performance to the Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey Beach areas.
