The Delaware Humane Association held a Clear the Shelter event Aug.18 at the Rehoboth adoption center. By the close of the event, eight dogs and five cats had found homes. This is the first Clear the Shelter event the DHA Rehoboth Beach Adoption Center has held, and, according to the event staff, it was a great success. The Rehoboth adoption center can be found at 18675 Coastal Highway in Midway Plaza.
