Delaware Humane Association holds low-cost vaccine clinic

Delaware Humane Association in Rehoboth held a low-cost vaccine clinic for the community June 23. Erin Berner, owner of My Doggy’s Mobile Pet Spa, provided nail trims for dogs and cats, with all proceeds donated to DHA.

Volunteers from the center house, feed and lovingly care for adoptable cats and dogs as they wait for their forever homes. Staff and volunteers assist with animal care including walking dogs, cleaning kennels and crates, and socializing both cats and dogs.

To donate, mail checks to DHA Rehoboth Adoption Center, 18675 Coastal Highway, Suite 8, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. Donations of wet cat food, cat litter and paper towels are especially appreciated.

The next vaccine clinic is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, at the DHA in Midway Shopping Center.
