Dewey Beach celebrates end of summer

Hundreds of revelers marked the end of summer at the annual Dewey Business Partnership party Sept. 16.

Just over the dunes on New Orleans and Bellevue streets, property owners and their guests enjoyed entertainment by DJ Manny Mann, live music by Bryen O’Boyle and Just the Tip, and food and drinks from a variety of town restaurants.

Town of Dewey Beach officials presented a $21,830 donation to the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, making good on a donor drive promise that the town would match individual donations to the department.

The Dewey Business Partnership hosts the Dewey Gala, Egg Scoop, Arts & Fun Festival, Kids Running of the Bull and other events throughout the year. For more information, go to deweybusinesspartnership.com or follow Dewey Business Partnership on Facebook.
