The 2nd Annual Dewey Beach Sip And Shop has returned to the delight of seasonal shoppers looking for an artistic and original alternative to the usual holiday gift fare. Created as an opportunity for local artists and vendors to connect with shoppers over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, the two-day event offers a wide and unique collection of holiday gifts and original art in a fun and festive shopping environment under a large heated tent in the Starboard parking lot located at 2009 Coastal Highway in Dewey Beach. Patrons will also be able to sample local craft beer while partaking in the unique shopping experience.
Dewey Beach Sip And Shop co-organizer, local artist and participant Leah Beach is excited about this year's event. "Even though this is only our second season, its already grown bigger than last year's. Expect more art, more vendors and more fun! As a local artist and organizer, it feels great to help create an annual event that spotlights local artists, goods and services," said Beach. "A lot of times, that group is overlooked because of traditional brick and mortar, big name, outlet based holiday shopping. If you're looking for a truly unique, locally produced, artistically crafted gift, then you'll love this year's Dewey Beach Sip And Shop. It's so much fun, you can't help but get into the holiday spirt and feel the joy when you're there," she added.
The 2nd Annual Dewey Beach Sip And Shop takes place rain, snow or shine Friday, Nov. 25, and Saturday, Nov. 26, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., at the Starboard Restaurant located at 2009 Coastal Hwy, Dewey Beach.
