Dr. James Kramer of Selbyville named president of Delaware State Dental Society
At the 153rd annual meeting, the Delaware State Dental Society elected Dr. James Kramer, a general dentist who practices in Selbyville, as its next president, effective July 1. The meeting, attended by 300 people, took place at the Westin Hotel in Wilmington May 12.
Kramer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and attended Temple University School of Dentistry. He fulfilled his residency at the Wilmington Medical Center and has practiced in Selbyville since 1988. He has been extremely active with with the society, serving on the executive council as well as a number of committees.
The president-elect of the American Dental Association, Dr. Gary Roberts, was a special guest at the meeting and presented outgoing DSDS President Dr. Robert Kacmarcik with the ADA President’s Plaque.
