Driver flees with license plate following Ellendale crash

The driver of a Nissan Altima removed the license plate and fled before emergency responders arrived.
Others involved in the crash had minor injuries, officials said.
A driver fled with a car license plate Nov. 26 following a head-on crash on Route 113 near Ellendale.
The crash happened at 9:55 a.m. at the intersection of Route 113 and Route 16, officials said. Arriving crews found a Toyota SUV and and Nissan Altima had crashed head-on.
The driver of the Nissan Altima removed the car’s license plate and fled the scene before emergency responders arrived, officials said. Those who remained had minor injuries, they said.
Delaware State Police are investigating.
