Eastern Shore AFRAM announces winners of Car & Cycle Show

Eastern Shore AFRAM Festival Inc. and AFRAM Car & Cycle Show with sponsor Nanticoke Automotive of Seaford has announced the trophy winners of this year’s open competition.

The competition ushered in the first motor vehicle show in AFRAM’s 17-year festival history and was held on the grounds of the Seaford Historical Society’s William H. Ross Mansion.

In the Automotive Division, Herman Jackson of Georgetown won the Best In Show trophy with his 1929 Ford Model A. Additional trophies were won by Teddy Price - 1985 Chevrolet Corvette, Charles Cave - 1950 Chevrolet Deluxe, Aron Price - 1986 Chevrolet Corvette, Curtis Williams - 1993 Chevrolet S-10, Jerry Price - 1986 Buick Grand National, Tony Hopkins - 2003 Nissan Altima, Angus Price - 2008 Chevrolet Corvette, Harry Spivey - 1993 Chevrolet Corvette and Jenny Price - 1989 Nissan 300.

In the Motorcycle Division, Martin and Parker Schmidt of Ellendale won the Best in Show trophy with their 1980 Harley-Davidson.

Eastern Shore AFRAM Festival Inc. is headed by Seaford City Councilwoman and Eastern Shore AFRAM Executive Director Pat A. Jones.
