Eva C. Tindall, retired bank teller
Eva C. Tindall, 92, of Seaford, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, at Seaford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Seaford. She was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Dagsboro, to the late John and Blanche Cullen.
Eva retired as a teller for the banking industry and was a past member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend; she made friends so easily with her wonderful personality. Eva loved embroidering, hosting holiday dinners, and going out to lunch with her friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Norma Lee Reed and Peggy Clausen (Ralph); son-in-law, Robert Rogers Jr.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John P. Tindall; daughter, Penny Rogers; brother, Lawrence Cullen; and sisters, Elaine Townsend, Theresa Collins, Evelyn Davis and Alice Davidson.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 28, at Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 W. St., Laurel, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Joe LeCates will officiate. Interment will be private.
