Fall means corn harvest in Sussex County

It’s fall, and it’s time for farmers to harvest their corn crop.
Last year, Sussex farmers planted 108,000 acres of corn for grain with a yield of 160 bushels per acre, totaling more than 17 million bushels.
At about $4 per bushel, it added up to a $68 million crop.
Corn is loaded into a trailer for delivery to a local grain company.
