Fork + Flask Winter Cocktail Party set Jan. 29 to benefit culinary scholarship fund

January 21, 2017

Fork + Flask's Winter Cocktail Party is the place to see and be seen from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29. And it all goes to benefit the RehobothFoodie.com/Touch of Italy Culinary Scholarship Fund.

This annual event gets even better this year when eight local, high-profile mixologists go head-to-head and shaker-to-shaker to whip up the very best cocktail using Dogfish Head Distilling's Analog Vodka and Compelling Gin. And patrons’ votes will determine the winner who will walk away with a $400 prize!

No cocktail party is complete without hors d'oeuvres and noshes, and Fork & Flask's Executive Chef Sean Corea, award-winning pastry chef Dru Tevis and Rob Peck are teaming up to bring tasty bites and creative food stations. Of course there will be live entertainment.

Individual tickets are $45, and couples can get in for $80. The RehobothFoodie.com/Touch of Italy Culinary Scholarship Fund helps Delaware high school graduates continue their culinary education at full-time professional culinary schools. Now in its second year, the scholarship fund has already sent two Delaware high school graduates to New York's Culinary Institute of America and The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, the alma mater of such Cape Region luminaries as Kevin Reading (Abbott's Grill and Brickworks) and Hari Cameron (restaurants a(MUSE.) and Grandpa MAC).

Call 302-226-2037 or go to www.ForkandFlask.com/events for tickets. They're selling out fast, so join the fun – and send some deserving Delaware culinary students to school.
