The Gazette visits the luxury Hippo Lakes Safari in South Africa

Last fall, Cape Gazette readers David McAuley, Dan Johnson, Erik Hein, and Matt Rogers embarked on an unforgettable journey to South Africa, spending a week on safari. Nestled in the spectacular Waterberg region, Hippo Lakes sits along the edge of a lake bank at the end of a long, rugged ravine. As if the safari adventure wasn’t thrilling enough, the group also explored other remarkable destinations, including the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Town. To top it all off, they had an amazing time hanging out with the penguins!
