Georgetown chamber speaker to address economic topics
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce will host its last economic development lunch of the year from 12 to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, at First State Community Action Agency, 308 N. Railroad Ave., Georgetown.
The featured speaker will be Bryan Mack of the Delaware Prosperity Partnership, the state's leading economic development resource. Mack will discuss why so many businesses choose Delaware, what initiatives DPP is working on, wins the group has secured for Delaware and what the future holds.
Attendees will learn about Delaware’s many attributes – it is business friendly and offers diversity of lifestyle options, a favorable corporate tax climate, a robust talent pool, a major port, passenger rail hub and easy access to two international airports. Mack will explain how DPP leverages all this to bring business to Delaware and what it can mean for economic development.
