Cape Region kids were able to let their imaginations run loose, thanks to the authors taking part in the Sussex Children's Book Festival May 18 at Georgetown library.
The event brought together children’s book authors who had the opportunity to read and share their stories with their intended audience. The bulk of the audience was younger than 10 and was ready to be entertained by the likes of Frank Coates, aka Mr. Boom Boom, who used a drum to simulate sounds as he read his book, “There’s Something in My Closet.”
