Grant Jacob Huber, Chrysler retiree
Grant Jacob Huber, aka "Pop", 70 years young, of Dagsboro passed away Friday, May 5, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes.
He was born in Wilmington, Friday, Jan. 31, 1947, son of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Weldin) Huber.
Mr. Huber was an autoline worker, retiring from Chrysler after a long career. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, playing cards, horse races and baseball games. More than anything, however, Mr. Huber treasured time spent with family and friends. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Huber was preceded in death by his siblings: Frederick Jr., Pat and Thomas. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Abbygale DiVincenzo and her husband Chris; his granddaughters: Sierra DiVincenzo and Janelle DiVincenzo; his stepson James M. Heisler; his brother, George Huber; his sister, Judi Murray and her husband Gage; and his nieces: Terry and Donna.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 10, at 6 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, 34874 Atlantic Avenue, Ocean View, where friends may call beginning at 5 p.m. Interment will be private.
