Great Big Liars announces southern Delaware dates starting May 14

May 11, 2022

Fresh off of rocking the energetic crowds that filled both Mispillion River Brewing and 1CW Pro Wrestling in Houston, Milford's own original hard rock band, Great Big Liars, is excited to announce its spring schedule.

The appearances will feature multiple bands on one bill, something they call mini-festivals.

“Traditionally it is one band playing covers for an entire night,” said GBL bass player Mike P, “but I really feel that it’s time for a change, and Milford, so far, has been extremely receptive to original music.”

GBL and the Mad Dabbers packed Mispillion River Brewing April 1 in Milford full of people eager to hear new music. Bartender Kevin Lee said, “That night with Great Big Liars and the Mad Dabbers was epic. Live local music at MRB is my personal passion, and I can’t wait until they return!”

The spring tour will include bands such as the Mad Dabbers, Dutchman, Erase Me, and Scattered with Cal Toner.

"The venues we're playing at definitely march to the beat of their own drum, just like us!" said GBL guitarist John Mollura.

Music lovers can catch one of Great Big Liars’ Great Big Tour spring performances at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at Mispillion River Brewing; 4 p.m., Sunday, May 29, at FEEBs Distillery; and 7 p.m., Saturday, June 18, at Easyspeak Spirits, both in Milford.

Great Big Liars includes John Mollura on guitar, Mike P on bass, Ben Gunter on drums and Stephen Barr, vocals.

GBL can be seen and heard on Facebook at GreatBigLiars.
