Harbor Freight, a tool and equipment retailer based out of California, is set to open a new location at the Rehoboth Mall complex outside Rehoboth Beach. According to the company’s website, the new store is expected to open Saturday, May 4.
The new Harbor Freight, 18904 Rehoboth Mall Blvd., will be located in a unit between Michaels and the new Grocery Outlet, which is slated for an early-April opening. This will be the nationwide chain’s fifth location in the immediate vicinity – there are stores in Dover, Milford, Millsboro and Seaford.
In August 2022, the National Retail Federation named Harbor Freight the fastest-growing retailer in the United States. The retailer opened its 1,400th store in Latrobe, Pa., in April 2023.
All Harbor Freight Tools locations are open seven days a week – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays. For more information, go to harborfreight.com.
