Hibernians host hot dog roast at Shepherd’s Office

July 6, 2024

The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians recently hosted a hot dog roast at Shepherd’s Office in Georgetown.

Ladies worked side by side with the staff and volunteers at Shepherd’s Office and served more than 250 people.

Each meal included hot dogs, chips, homemade cookies and a bottle of water. Men from the Ancient Order of Hibernians did the grilling.

Casapulla’s Subs in Rehoboth Beach donated the hot dogs and Giant Food in Rehoboth Beach donated the water.

The event was part of the LAOH commitment to organizations in Sussex County that serve their communities in various ways. Shepherd’s Office offers a wide range of services to local community members under the leadership of Jim Martin, and his dedicated staff and volunteers. The LAOH serves the community through its commitment to friendship, unity and Christian charity.
