Starr will delve into herbs including lavender, mint, rosemary, sage and thyme, that are easy to grow and readily available. Besides their traditional culinary applications, they have many useful and medicinal properties. Attendees will not only learn about how to grow and dry these herbs, but also how to utilize their medicinal properties to improve the mind, body and spirit. Everyone should bring a journal and pen for notes. Those who wish to purchase herbs and pot them should be prepared to get their hands dirty.
