Iraq-Afghanistan National Memorial to visit Lewes Oct. 17-20
The Delaware American Legion Auxiliary will host the Iraq-Afghanistan National Memorial - Remembering Our Fallen with events from Thursday, Oct. 17 to Sunday, Oct. 20, on the grounds of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal, 43 Cape Henlopen Drive, Lewes. The mobile photographic display honors the country’s military fallen.
This event promotes patriotism and support for the families and friends who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. In addition to the Middle East Memorial, the event will promote the Be the One Program of the American Legion to support suicide prevention and bring awareness of how to best serve veterans.
