Jane Helen Lolk, retired teacher
Jane Helen Lolk, 62, of Lewes, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Born in Carlstadt, N.J., June 16, 1949, she is the daughter of Martha (Butler) Brinkman and the late Harold Brinkman.
Mrs. Lolk graduated from Jersey City College with a master's degree in education and was a teacher for many years before retiring to Lewes. Jane loved making crafts and was a true artist in this field; a glue gun was her best friend. She was also a great cook and decorator.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, the Rev. Fr. Otto Lolk; sons, Shawn Harold Lolk and Christian Otto Lolk of Lewes, and stepson Darren Keith Lolk and wife Delica of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brothers, John Brinkman and wife Barbara of Rockaway, N.J., and James Brinkman of Glastonbury, Conn. She is also survived by two nephews and two nieces; and three great-nephews and three great-nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20, at St. George's Chapel, 20274 Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson. A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, and at the church from 2 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday. Interment will be private.
