Jennie L. Dull, devoted church, Eastern Star member

Jennie L. Dull, 88, of Lewes, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born Aug. 21, 1936, in Upper Darby, Pa., daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Russell. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Jean Dull, in 1987.

For many years, Jennie worked as a bank teller and then at the Roses Department Store. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, a devoted member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where she sang in the church choir for many years, and a member of the Unity Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as Esther.

She was predeceased by her husband, Christian L. Dull, in 2022. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon A. Henderson; and grandchildren, Adam Nobles, Jennifer Nobles, Jimmy Richards, Hannah Bond, Xavier Nobles and Roselyn Nobles.

Eastern Star services will be held at noon, Thursday, March 20, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 129 W. 4th St., Lewes, followed by Christian services at 12:15 p.m. A viewing will precede the services at the church beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Lewes.
