The members of Georgetown Presbyterian Church announce the ordination of Jennine Money Groene to the office of Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) will take place at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 25. The service will take place in the sanctuary of Georgetown Presbyterian. A dinner reception at the church will follow the service.
Groene, a graduate of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, has accepted a call as chaplain at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kan. A native of Pakistan, she grew up in Saudi Arabia and immigrated to the United States in 2004.
The church address is 203 North Bedford St., Georgetown. The service and reception are open to the public.
