Jervone R. Hall, truck driver
Jervone Rakeem Hall, 33, of Bridgeville passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, after a traffic accident on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel on Friday, July 27, 2018.
Mr. Hall was born Sept. 27, 1984, to Willie Johnson and Tyann Hall Collick, who survive him. Jervone was a graduate of Indian River High School Class of 2002 where he was a member of the JROTC. He joined the USMC in 2008 and upon his discharge, he returned to his career driving a truck which was his dream. Jervone worked for Rennie Hunt Trucking Co. He enjoyed playing chess, collecting knives and swords, and loved tinkering on electronics. He loved his mother’s sweet potato pie and always requested one for Christmas. He loved spending time with his brothers Darnell and Tervone, who were his best friends.
He leaves behind his father, Willie Johnson of Bridgeville: his mother, Tyann Collick and stepfather Webster Collick of Frankford; maternal grandmother, Mary M. Hall of Dagsboro; 10 siblings: Darnell Hall of Bridgeville, twin brother Tervone Hall of Harrington, Willie Trader of Seaford, Garland Jefferson of Seaford, Endora Jefferson of Seaford, Tyson Jefferson of Delmar, Rhonda Dobson of Laurel, and Milton Lofland of Georgia; and stepsisters Corinda and Abbagail Collick of Frankford. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Georganna Purnell (James) of Frankford, John Hall (Cathy) of Frankford, Mike Hall (Toni) of Bridgeville, Tanya Griffin (Elisha) of Smyrna, and Paris Hall of Dagsboro. He so also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at Antioch AME Church, 194 Clayton Ave., Frankford, where friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m. for visitation. Burial will be private.
