June E. Moore, enjoyed being secretary

June E. Moore, 79, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 14, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Teaneck, N.J., June 17, 1933, daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Westervelt ) Wedlick.

Mrs. Moore thoroughly enjoyed her secretarial career with the Woodbridge School District, retiring after many years of service. She was an avid Orioles fan and always looked forward to a good day of fishing. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband Donald V. Moore with whom she just celebrated a 30th wedding anniversary this year April 2. Mrs. Moore is also survived by two sisters: Ruth Stevens of Slidell, La. and Carol Hulliger of Inverness, Fla.; two daughters: Karen Catlin of Westover, Md. and Catherine Blades of Rhodesdale, Md.; two sons: Richard Blades of Milton and Randall Blades of Greenwood; four stepdaughters: Mickey Bare of Snow Hill, Md., Cindy Moore of Laurel, and Nancy Mullen and Donna Moore, both of Delmar; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all their friends and relatives for the loving support and care they provided during this time of need.

There will be no services. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Bridgeville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Moore's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
