Katherine R. Marshall, DAR member

Katherine R. Marshall, 86, of Lewes, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at her home with her daughters by her side. Katherine was born May 21, 1928, in Quincy, Mass., daughter of the late Robert G. and Louise (Gidcumb) Record of New Hampshire.

Katherine was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a Mayflower descendent. She was a highly devoted mother, wife and retired paralegal. She was a lifelong learner, earning her master's degree at the age of 72. Katherine was also an active member of Groome United Methodist Church in Lewes.

In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald and eldest daughter, Carol. She is survived by her two daughters, Diane L. Zigman and Ellen K. Marshall.

Services will be held privately in New Hampshire. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
