Lavender Fields Farm art exhibit opens Aug. 28; reception set Sept. 8
Enjoy the beauty of local artwork by Delaware Shore Artists and the fresh air of Lavender Fields Farm in Milton Wednesday, Aug. 28 through Sunday, Sept. 8. A reception will be held Sunday, Sept. 8 from 1 to 3 p.m.; refreshments will be served.
Art and nature lovers can meet nine local artists, members of the Delaware Shore Artists Group, who will be exhibiting a wide range of original artwork and prints. This exhibit provides an opportunity to view more than 40 works of art, all available for purchase.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. The artists exhibiting will be Jane Duffy, Alan Keffer, Jane Knaus, LaVerne McIntyre, Linda Minkowski, Beverly Morgan, Renata Price, Margie Spaulding, and Phyllis Zwarych.
Lavender Fields Farm is located between Lewes and Georgetown, off Route 9. Turn left on Cool Springs Road at the railroad crossing and go about one mile and Lavender Fields Farm is on the right. For details go to www.lavenderfieldsde.com.
