Lewes Maritime Day seeks exhibitor signups by May 1

April 5, 2025

To celebrate Lewes Maritime Day and the seasonal opening of the Lightship Overfalls, the Overfalls Foundation and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry are heading up the planning team for the annual public event set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 17, in Canalfront Park, Lewes. Following the opening ceremony, the day will offer options including exhibitors, arts and crafts vendors, demonstrations, ship tours and boat rides.

There is no fee for exhibitors. In the past, participating business and groups have included bait and tackle shops, marine organizations, crafters and artisans, face painters, food trucks, musicians and community organizations. The average exhibit space is 10-by-10-feet (larger spaces are available), and exhibitors are responsible for their own licensing and equipment including tables, chairs, signage and tents.

To be included in a virtual planning meeting, exhibitors must sign up no later than Thursday, May 1, by emailing lewes.maritime.day@overfalls.org. Learn more at cmlf.com/event/annual-lewes-maritime-day.
