July 11, 2019

“White Horses,” Linda Blaskey’s new poetry collection, was released this spring by Mojave River Press of Apple Valley, Calif.

Blaskey, a prize-winning poet from Lincoln, is the author of “Farm,” a chapbook of poetry that won the Delaware Press Association Communications Contest in the poetry category and placed second in the National Federation of Press Women’s communications contest.

She is co-author, with Gail Comorat, Jane Miller and Wendy Ingersoll, of “Walking the Sunken Boards,” a poetry collection published by Pond Road Press and also released this spring.

Her work was selected by Dorianne Laux for inclusion in Best New Poets 2014 and was chosen by Rob Greene, editor of Raleigh Review, for North Carolina’s Poetry on the Bus Project. She is the recipient of two Artist Fellowship Grants from Delaware Division of Arts in the literature category.

Blaskey is poetry editor for The Broadkill Review and coordinator for the Dogfish Head Poetry Prize.

“White Horses” can be purchased locally from the author and at Browseabout Books. It is also available online in both print and electronic editions.
