Linda K. Leidy, administrative assistant

Linda K. Leidy, 66, of Rehoboth Beach passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Lewes.  She was born in Washington, D.C., daughter of the late Kenneth and Patricia Leidy.

A 1972 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School, Ms. Leidy attended Delaware Technical Community College following high school.  Afterward, she began a career as an administrative assistant with University of Delaware's College of Marine Studies, where she was a dependable and dedicated employee for 22 years.  A lover of all animals, she especially doted on her many cats over the years.  Ms. Leidy was a loving and devoted sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Leidy is survived by her brothers:  Joel Leidy (Nancy) of Milton and Mark Leidy (Barbara) of Lewes;  and her niece, Annie Leidy of Lewes.

All services will be private.  Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Ms. Leidy's memory to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, Georgetown Chapter, 22918 Dupont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947.
