We started the Rehoboth Marathon in 2008. Since then, this off-season event has brought thousands of runners and their families downtown and to the surrounding areas to stay, shop, dine and, of course, run through our beautiful seashore area.
Kathy McGuiness, now in a primary race to represent us in Dover, was on our first marathon committee. Her tenacity, negotiating skills and hard work with the city helped make the marathon a reality.
Our local business and so many others we talk with want Kathy back working for us. Many of us have benefitted from her energy and passion for helping our community. We support Kathy McGuiness for Delaware state representative for the 14th District!
