The University of Alabama announced Chloe Le of Rehoboth Beach was named to its summer 2024 president’s list for achieving a GPA of 4.0.
Lewes student named to JMU dean’s list
James Madison University announced Tess Mariner of Lewes was named to its summer 2024 dean’s list, for earning GPA between 3.5 and 3.899. Mariner is majoring in communication studies.

Lewes student named to healthcare administration honor society
The University of Scranton announced Caroline Burns of Lewes was among its 25 students inducted into Upsilon Phi Delta, the national honor society for graduate and undergraduate students in healthcare administration programs. Students must have a minimum overall grade point average of 3.5 for induction. Burns is a graduate student pursuing a master of health administration degree.

The University of Tampa announced local students were named to its spring 2024 dean’s list for achieving a GPA of 3.75 or higher. Honorees are Melina Kotanides of Lewes, a senior who graduated with a bachelor of science degree in public health; Magan Kopp of Millsboro, a junior majoring in marketing; and Eve Mundok of Lewes, a freshman majoring in human performance.
Hearn named 2023-24 conference scholar-athlete
Kutztown University announced Abbey Hearn of Lewes was named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete. To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25.

Bucknell names dean’s list honorees
Bucknell University announced Lewes students Caden Schell and Cleo Ray were named to its spring 2024 dean’s list for earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Schell graduated with the Class of 2024 with a degree in environmental engineering. A member of the Class of 2026, Ray is studying early childhood education.

Rochester Institute of Technology announced local students who were named to its spring 2024 dean’s list for achieving a GPA of at least 3.4. Honorees are Nate Kistler of Millsboro, who is in the chemical engineering program, and Ethan Wolman of Lewes, who is in the cybersecurity program.
